Town Awarded First Grant
The Town recently completed a grant application for the CoServ Charitable Foundation. We are pleased to announce that the request for partial funding of a Stalker Message Center 360, was granted in the amount of $11,995. The Message Center 360 provides a unique ability to serve several public safety functions on behalf of the Town, the primary function targeted at reducing vehicular traffic speeds in school zones and other areas where children commonly gather. The software included with the Message Center allows for metric driven targeted deployment of the device, as well as law enforcement personnel. The flexibility of this platform will also allow the Town to utilize the messaging function to announce other public safety concerns, when not in use for speed control. The CoServ Charitable Foundation is supported by Operation Roundup, CoServ Customers, Employee payroll donations, fundraisers and other events.
